Piner Cheer Team Wins National Championship

The Piner Middle Cheer Team traveled to Dallas and won big at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) High School Nationals Competition.

The team won the National Championship for Crowd Performance by a Non-Building Junior High with a score of 92.54. This is the second year in a row the team has achieved this national championship. Watch their winning performance here.

The team also received Best Use of Jumps and Best Use of Props in their performance.

The team is made up of fourteen Piner Middle students and is coached by Amanda Ortiz, Brandi Conary and Stephanie Littrell.
